Why did you decide to start Austin Angels?

I'm apart of this wonderful organization because I feel the Lord has honestly guided me to do the things I do for Austin Angels. I have always done some sort of charity work or donations growing up, however as I got older and a little bit selfish I kind of fell off the path of giving back. Well not anymore!!! Living in the society that we live in as American's we tend to forget what is happening around us all over the world. Knowing that I'm apart of an organization that gives a child a new bed to sleep on, gives a homeless man living on the street a toothbrush and toothpaste, or just to provide hope and love to children that come from an abused family life is all you need to get me to do to continue to be an Austin Angel.

What is your favorite charity (besides Austin Angels of course!)?

Make A Wish Foundation. I truly believe this charity is one of the most remarkable charities! What a blessing is it to be able to have the ability as a sick child or adult to have a dream of theirs come true! Absolutely Amazing :)

Favorite Book:
I haven't found my favorite book yet….still working on that!

What are you most grateful for?
My best friend and boyfriend Heath for making me smile and being my biggest fan, all my wonderful family, friends, and health.

If you had one wish for the world what would it be?
To do away with poverty.

If you had any “special power” what would it be??
I honestly haven't ever been asked this question before so I'm going to need a lot more time to think about this…I will get back to you all on this one!!!

What is your goal for Austin Angels?
That we become so big I can quit my job!!! hahaha no I'm kidding! For Austin Angels to be Texas state wide! I have a strong feeling this is very attainable for this organization.

HELLO and WELCOME to the most powerful, loving and caring group of Angels around! You have made the first step to bringing joy and love to someone you don't even know!!

Who is your living Hero?
I honestly don't have a hero but there is one person that I look up to and admire, Susan Brubaker. Not only is she one of my best friends but she is the true definition of someone who has a heart of GOLD and is on this earth to bring change and love to each and every human being that crosses her path!
